Roasted Aam Panna

  • 2 green mangoes
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • Water
  • Ice cubes


  • Roast the mangoes on a stove top.
  • Peel the skin off the mangoes and take the pulp out using a fork.
  • In a pan, add the sugar and the water.
  • Add the mango pulp into the sugar syrup.
  • Add the cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt and green chillies.
  • Cook until it reaches a nice sticky consistency and the spices are blended well.
  • In a glass, take a teaspoon of the mango concentrate and top it with ice cubes and water.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and enjoy.
